In disease states it indicates chronic infection or inflammation and suggest a protracted immun stimulation.
asmall subgroup of patients with juvenile Rh.Arthritis may have apositive Rh.factor.

Along with clinical signs, RA test if positive may suggest JRA. Without clinical signs, it is an acute phase reactant. It may also be negative in RA-ve JRA. Hence, by itself, is not significant.
