One and half year old boy-first product of II-consanguinous marriage had isolated progressive motor regression. MRI showed white matter disease with prominent post. and deep white matter involvement without contrast enhancement. Three senior pediatric neurologist have labelled it as leukodystrophy. VLCFA-WNL. What could be a differential diagnosis?

Since there is presence of leukodystrophy, apart from adrenoleukodystrophy, one must also rule out Krabbe's disease and MLD. Also vanishing white matter disease and PML {in HIV patients } should be kept in mind.
