I have seen that patients are in habit of misusing nimesulide. If the patient is seen after two to three days after receiving bd doses of nimesulide, there is periorbital swelling. Can it be some water retention of some nephrotoxicity. I have even seen generalised edema in patients on receiving nimesulide, especially if coprescribed with cefadroxil.
