Midazolam can be used at the time of seizure - the usual recommended dose is 0.1 to 0.2 mg, kg and in children upto 0.5 mg, kg can be used safely - advantage of Midazolam is that it can be used either IV or IM or rectally or intranasally or orally with equal efficacy {almost}.
