a 12 year male child presented with severe anemia hb=2.8gm percent with hepatomegaly with electropheresis show D window 36 percent. what is diagnosis

Expert Answer :
The anaemia is not due to HbD. This report suggest HbD trait which is of no clinical consequence. His anaemia needs to be independently evaluated. What is his MCV, MCH and what does the PS show, what is WBC count, platelet count. PLEASE EVALUATE THIS CHILD AS ANY CASE OF ANEMIA
