Question
An 8 years old girl was found to have low serum ceruloplasmin and normal liver function tests on screening. She was referred to rule out Wilson’s disease. Father had died recently with cirrhosis and suspected Wilson’s disease in view of presence of KF ring and low serum ceruloplasmin. However his liver biopsy stained negative for iron and copper deposits. On examination, the child had no abnormality.
