we are frequently faced with children beyond infancy having amixed picture of bilateral chest infection {bronchopneumonia} and truly wheezing chest {asthma} with or without previous history for b asthma, what would be the correct diagnostic label or term for this combination , can we call this asthmatic bronchitis_?

yes,such patients belong to larger group of reactive airway disease. some will proceed to develop asthma,while majority will no longer have attacks by 5th year of life.
