7 valent PCV is intended for routine Infant immunization of healthy infants, children upto 5 years of age in 3 doses at 4 weeks interval below 6 months,2 doses between 6and11 months and asingle dose between 12 and 15 months.All the THREE regimens should be followed by a booster at 18 months.Beyond 18 months till 5 years a single dose will suffice.PPV 23 is indicated in Adolescents and Adults.Only a single dose is recommendedwith no boosters.
