How typhoid carriers are diagnosed, what are the symptoms and how should they be treated?

On the basis of stool cultures and if they show salmonella typhi in spite of treatment of fever. They are asymptomatic. They should be treated with antibiotics with a sensitive drug for 2-3 weeks.
