TIER 1

Localized

Tumour confined to ovaries

Regional

Tumour involves one or both ovaries with pelvic extension and/or spread to the peritoneum outside the pelvis and/or retroperitoneal lymph nodes

Metastatic

Distant metastatic disease excluding peritoneal metastases

TIER 2

Stage I

Tumour confined to ovaries (one or both)

Stage II

Tumour involves one or both ovaries with pelvic extension (below the pelvic brim)

Stage III

Tumour involves one or both ovaries with cytologically or histologically confirmed spread to the peritoneum outside the pelvis and/or metastasis to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes

Stage IV

Distant metastasis (excludes peritoneal metastases)

Result :

Diagnostic criteria not met.
