Pre gangrene. Gangrene is due to either bacterial infection (gas gangrene) or due to block in the arterial blood supply as in DIC, thrombus, clots, diabetes, cold injuries, vasculitis or arterial claudication. Pre gangrene is a reversible state. Treatment depends on the cause. |
