My child is 44 days old. About one week back whe was suffering from cold and slight fever when suddenly whe underwent seziures twice within 12 hours. Local Nursing home admitted her and treated her for Pneuomonia. She didn't get any seziures after that. Her CT scan and EEG reports are awaited. Another problem is that she is not making eye contacts with objects. Currently, she takes Gardinal syrup twice a day. What could be the problem ?

the causes will be in the area to rule out
* infection by doing full septic screen and cover with antibiotic
*perinatal history to rule out neonatal encephalopathy
*metabolic screen as well
*c.t, mri to r-o malformation.
*toxicology screen for drug effect

* full examination by woodlight to r-o neurocutaneous syndrome

probably the child would have been suffering from menigitis and the child has gone for menigitic sequalae.
