Is it safe to use inhaled steroids in a child who, as an asthmatic warrants its use,however is HIV plus and asymptomatic? Any specific recommendations?

Yes, inhaled steroids may be given even in a child who is HIV
positive but an asthmatic. However, it has to be given under guidance
with proper monitoring for pulmonary infections. There are no specific
recommendations for same.
