Fatal Dose :
10 to 20gm or more
Fatal Period :
Ingestion and inhalation
Mechanism of action :
most of these drugs act by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis
Clinical Picture :
• GIT: Nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, peptic ulceration
• CNS: drowsiness, lethargy, confusion, vertigo
• CVS: hypotension, aplastic anemia
• RS: cyanosis
• Renal: nephritis


Treatment :
• gastric lavage
• hemoperfusion
• symptomatic
