In case of hypotonic cerebral palsy when lesion is cerebral, how a cerebral or umn lesion cause hypotonia?

In hypotonic CP the predominant pathological involvement is in cerebellum leading to hypotonia.most of the times it evolves into dyskinetic or spastic CPwhich truly represents the UMN lesion.
