Efinaconazole

Mechanism :

Antifungal activity by inhibiting the formation of ergosterol, important component of fungal cell membrane


Indication :

  • Onychomycosis in children ≥6 years and adolscents.

Dosing :

Topical, apply to the affected toenails once every day for 48 weeks.

Adverse Effect :

Onychocryptosis (In grown nail)

Local contact dermatitis, local erythema and exfoliation, nail discolouration
