Alglucosidase Alfa


Indication :

  • Enzyme replacement for Pompe Disease

Dosing :

20 mg/kg as IV infusion over 4 hours. Do not give more than 7 mg/kg/hour.

Adverse Effect :

Injection site pain, headache, flushing, fever, rigors, abdominal pain, chest pain, diarrhea, dizziness, eczema, hypertension, myalgia, URI, nausea, vomiting, pneumonia, diaper rash, otitis media, hypoxia, respiratory distress, anemia, oral candidiasis, GERD, bradycardia, tachycardia, anaphylaxis, wheezing, hyperparathyroidism, muscle spasm, proteinuria.


Hepatic Dose :

No dosage adjustments are recommended.
