Question
my daughter is 3 yrs old was diagnosed with vur 3 on right 4 on left a year ago we started preventive antibiotics and had several breakthrough infections. They decided to go through with deflux about 2 months ago and right now she has a kidney infection so what does that mean? did the deflux not work where should we go from here. Please respond thanks.
Answer
One would be able to comment on the VUR only after repeating a VCUG and checking on the reflux. Since it has been a year since last VCUG, one may repeat it now or within 6-12 months.
