Question
I work at the local health dept. A question that frequently comes up is how long does a BCG vaccine affect someone's PPD? Most I need an answer have not been able to find anything definitive.
Answer
Usually if a child has received BCG, then a Mantoux test should not be given for at least 6 months after the BCG as it may lead to a false positive Mantoux.
