Question
My son is 18 months old and has been teething for a while. His molars have come through the skin but he is wakingup at night screaming in pain, for at least 20 minutes or more. He rolls around while screaming with intensity. I have tried it all, teething gels, teething pills, Motrin, Tylenol, nothing works. What do I do? Please reply as soon as possible, a very worried mother.
Answer
Are you sure the screaming is due to teething? Rule out other causes such as colic or pain in abdomen or even night terrors. Teething should not cause so much pain.
