Question
My son is almost 2 years old. He is healthy in every way except when people see him they always tell me that he looks pale. I don't know what to do because all his check-ups have been perfect and the pediatrician never told me he looked pale. If you could tell me if this is normal, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Answer
If he looks pale, you can get his Hb (hemoglobin) tested. If it low, you can treat him for the anemia that is causing him to look pale. If the Hb is normal, you need not worry about it as some children may have this skin color that may make them look pale.
