I have a healthy six year old son, but he has only one kidney, fully functioning. Can you advise me about safety about playing sports and if there is anything special that he could wear that would protect the kidney if he does play contact sport.
Answer
A properly functioning one kidney does not require any source of worry. He can lead a regular normal life and enjoy all kinds of sport activities. Back to All Questions
