Question
My 8 year old daughter is in 3rd grade and reads at a 4th grade level struggles in Maths just a little, but my point here is that she reverses her letters and numbers. But the problem is that, she can read but it is as if she sees it different. The school says, it is up to her doctor to diagnose it. So I took her and he said no way that is the schools responsibility. What do I do? Where do I go? Please help, angie
Answer
Just get her evaluated by a child psychologist to rule out learning disability. If that is OK, then she should be evaluated for psychological problem as she seems to have a problem of overeating also and these certain small problems in school.
