Question
I know there is something out there that can prevent my child from sucking on his thumb and pencils and other items. I recall it was a solution that you could dip items, including fingers into.Any suggestions?
Answer
Children usually outgrow thumb sucking by the age of 1-4 years. In case of persistent sucking causing dental malocclusion, thumb guards can be tried.
