Question
Query: To the doctor on call: My daughter who is 14 months old walks with her left feet turned inward. Is this something, I should be concerned about and whether I should consult her orthopaedician? She was born with hip dysplasia and was treated successfully. I would appreciate your advice. Anxious parent
Answer
This could be something like a club foot which is known to occur with hip dysplasia or could be just a normal variant. You may need to consult your orthopedic surgeon to check for the amount of inwarding and whether it requires any treatment.
