Question
My son is 11 months old. He started walking from the 10th month. He is very comfortable in walking now. But I observe that his legs are bow shaped when he is walking. I want to know whether it is normal for kid’s legs to be in bow shape. What is the remedy for my son's legs / walking style to become normal?
Answer
Bow legs in children are common till the age of 3 years. However, if he seems to have gross bowing, it would be worthwhile to get him examined by a doctor to rule out rickets i.e. Vitamin D deficiency.
