Question
My daughter has a very uncommon eye problem. One of her eye color is black and the other is greyish-blue at the centre. We showed her to a local doctor, he said eyesight is normal, but color difference will remain. I'm very worried for her future. Can u give some remedy of example of such cases u have handled before, please? Is there something we can do to change her lens c color?
Answer
The condition that your daughter has is called heterochromia (different colors of the iris). This may be an inherited condition seen since birth or may occur later due to trauma or infection of the eye. Usually it causes no problem in vision and only has cosmetic significance. Colored lenses may be used to make both eyes look of the same color.
