Answer
Treatment of intestinal lymphangiectasia consists of dietary, medical and behavioral modifications. Dietary modifications include a low-fat, low salt diet and substitution of long-chain fatty acids with medium-chain fatty acids. Medications such as bulking agents, drugs to control diarrhea may be used. Surgery is not indicated in primary cause, however may be useful in secondary causes.
