Question
My daughter is almost ten and does not like to eat many fruits and vegetables. Her preferences are carbohydrates, both salty and sweet. Besides getting rid of the carbs, what other things can I do, to help her eat a more balanced diet? Thanks, Juliann
Answer
Make her eat dry fruits such as pistachio, raisins, almonds so that she has enough proteins and fats. Also pulses, eggs, fish, chicken would ensure enough proteins and fats. Vegetables and fruits are rich in minerals and vitamins. If her intake of vitamins and minerals is poor, she needs vitamin supplements.
