Question
For the past few months my daughter has been having consistent fevers. For the past two months it's been on a weekly basis for at least one or two days/ per week. The doctors have said it to be infections or viruses and they prescribe medicines and antibiotics. These fevers have also been combined with headaches on most occasions. I am extremely worried and I feel that there is something the doctors are missing
Answer
Fever is a sign of inflammation in the body. The inflammation could be due to infection or it could be due to autoimmune process. Since the child has been recurrent fever since 2 months, rule out autoimmune disease and even malignancy.
