Question
My daughter has prominent lymph nodes all over her body. They don't seem to be enlarged, but you can definitely feel them by running your finger over her neck or under her arms. We had some blood test done and everything came back normal. My question is, is it normal for a child to have prominent lymph nodes without any problems? I am just a bit apprehensive that something is being over looked.
Answer
Lymph nodes in the neck are quite common. However in the armpit is not common. If she continues to have persistent nodes, investigation for the same would be required. Blood tests and even biopsy of the node may be required.
