Question
My son is 6 years old. He constantly clears his throat. It's worth when he is eating. He's had it for a couple of years on and off, but now it's getting worse. The doctors can't find anything and I am not even sure what to look for. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
Answer
It looks to be more of a habit problem (a sort of a tic). He needs to have behaviour modification. You need to correct him every time. He does that and maybe even reward him when he can control it. You need to be patient and consistent.
