Question
My baby is 50 days old. I breast feed her. She is having constipation problem for the past 2 days. Does anything I eat lead to constipation for my daughter. What can I give her to relieve her from constipation. She keeps crying and is pacified only when I lift her.
Answer
No, constipation is not related to the food you eat. Since the weather is quite hot, you can give her sips of boiled, filtered cooled water toquench the thirst. You can wait for 2 more days for her to pass stools. If she still does not pass stools then, a suppository may be given.
