Question
My daughter is now 8 years old and had a cephalhematoma at birth. I was told it would eventually go away, but it didn't. It calcified as on Dr. told us. She is smart, healthy and shows no signs of any problems. She has never had and x-ray. Should I have that done and what does aspirating do and is it to late for that?
Answer
There is no need to do anything now as the hematoma has calcified and will not cause any problems now.
