Question
My eight year old daughter has a problem with her urine dribbling a bit before and after going to the washroom. She has been tested for a bladder infection twice in the last eight weeks - both have come back normal. My daughter takes extra pairs of underwear to school because of this. What can be wrong?
Answer
It is a problem of incontinence. This may be due to weakening of the bladder sphincter. Bladder exercise is required. Most important is to try and pull the pelvic muscles inside. This helps to strengthen the pelvic muscles and the bladder sphincter too.
