Question
After my husband smokes, he likes to get close to our baby and talk & kiss her. Will the smoke on his clothes promote conditions such as asthma to our baby?.
Answer
As far as possible, a person should not smoke and if at all then not in front of people as they get exposed to passive smoking.
Asthma is an allergic condition that occurs in predisposed individuals on exposure to irritants in the atmosphere. It does not occur in all individuals only in those who have a tendency to asthma.
