Question
I've had knocked knees since, I was about 3. I am now 14 turning 15 and my knees have deter rated. I went to a doctor yesterday who suggested to have an operation where they make a small incision and staple the bone to reshape the growth of the knee. Do you think it's worth a shot or a complete waste of time?
Answer
What was the cause of the knock knees? Was it a kidney problem such as RTA or was it vitamin D deficiency? One needs to make sure that the underlying disease is well under control before going in for surgery or else the deformity may recur.
