My son is coming up to 9mths old and is going Jaundice. Am I keeping him out of the sun too much, or am I not giving him enough vitamins? How can I prevent this from happening? He was a little jaundice when we got him home from birth and we just kept him under the light. Is this all I need to do now, or do I need to see why is being repeated?
Answer
Is the jaundice right since birth? Jaundice at nine months is usually due to viral infection unless and until it is right since birth and this could be due to other causes. If jaundice is of recent onset, consult a pediatrician to rule out viral hepatitis. Back to All Questions
