Please is there any sort of classifications for hypertension in children especially by the world health organization.
Answer
As per the task force report (1987), classification of hypertension in children:

- Normal BP = SBP and DBP < 90th
percentile for age, sex, and height
- High-normal BP = SBP or DBP between
90th and 95th percentile
- Hypertension = SBP or DBP > 95th
percentile on three separate occasions

The other classification of hypertension is :
Primary hypertension and Secondary hypertension.
