Question Category : Nephrotic Syndrome
Dear sir, My grandson 34 months old is suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome. It is first occurrence of this. He is on prednisone 30mg / day, since last four weeks and not 4 months as I typed wrongly 4 months in my last Querry. Sorry for that. We are worried as he does not like to drink water at all, but he always sucks the mother’s breast still now even after many tries to weaning. Although his Protein level in urine has lowered since 3 days after starting of medicine even sometimes we get ++ level of protein in his urine and again it goes back to traces. Is it normal? Does low intake of water can cause this disease? Please advice us. Thanking you for prompt reply and support. waiting for your reply.
