I have a 15 month old son that has been diagnosed with shingles, with never having chicken pox. He is not bothered by the blisters other than when he sees them. Could he have a low immunity system or the vaccine not have taken in him?

Thank you for your earlier replies. This is reg. my 1 yr. old son who is recurrently having cough / cold problem. His problem of cough kept increasing very badly. At last my pediatrician advised me to go for blood tests and chest x-ray. X-ray revealed : Hazzy patches seen in right upper zone of lungs - pneumoniatis. Rest of the lungs are clear. Then my doctor suggested to go infor mantaux test for tb. There was no redishness or swelling in the area injected for the test after 48 hrs. And I was relieved but the doctor measured the readings and confirmed that the TB test is positive and to start treatment for Tb. However, I am in a big confusion as I heard from another doctor that all kids given BCG will be TB +ve and they necessarily do not have TB. Now I am in a big fix as to trust my pediatrician and continue with the treatment or wait and check for some more time. The baby seems a little underweight otherwise is normal and playful; but for the cough. Kindly advise urgently. Is there any other method by which Tb is confirmed. I do not want to experiment on a 1 yr. old baby. Right now I am giving him el-salbetol and cefodem.
