Question Category : Fainting
My sister in law's otherwise healthy 8 years old son suddenly lost consciousness for few minutes and became pale. There is no history of seizures. Doctor has prescribed CT scan and EEG but nothing has been found. Since then he has complained of some difficulty while reading books but otherwise is OK. What could have been the problem? What else can be done?
Question Category : Fainting
My son to be 12 yr old son passed out today, he was walking and just blacked out and fell and hit his head on the wall. When he came to (about 10 seconds later) we asked what happened, he said "why?" I'm thirsty....then he poured the cup of water on his head. I took him to ER, they told blood, urine and blood sugar test...everything was normal. They said it was vaso something...associated with low blood pressure, does this sound correct?
