My 3 1/2 yr. daughter has had cold symptoms for 10 days, fever of 104 - 105 off and on, and now for 3 days straight. She is acting mostly normal. This is the 4th similar illness in 2 1/2 months. Is there an underlying problem other than sinusitus or viral infection the doctors might be missing? I am very concerned. All my friends with children say this isn't normal.

Question Category : Cough
My next door neighbor installed an outdoor wood burning furnace last year. Our yard is constantly filled with smoke when he is using it. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. My one year old has been having coughing fits every night for about the last 3 weeks. Could he possibly be allergic to this smoke? My 4 year old does not seem bothered by this but if there are risks I would like to know about them.

My 6 month old baby girl has been coughing now for more than ten days without fever, we have tested her for bacterial infection and strep throat but the results are negative.
She coughs violently several times through out the day and night. Phlegm consistency seems thick yet clear. During these episodes, she turns dark red and chokes, and struggles to breathe.
