One thing all headache sufferers agree on, regardless of severity or frequency, is that they can interfere dramatically on our ability to function normally in daily routines. According to the International Headache Society, there are over 200 types of headaches, categorized into two groups. Primary headaches refer to tension-type and migraines and secondary headaches are triggered by conditions somewhere else in the head or neck, such as muscular, head injury or a brain tumor.

Primary headaches account for 90 percent of all documented headaches and the main cause is episodic tension, which can be triggered by inflammation in muscles, arteries, veins, nerves and subcutaneous tissues, as well as other
factors. It has been theorized that when the inflammation is reduced or eliminated, pain relief will follow. The earth was the first anti-inflammatory and in a study done by James L. Oschman, PhD,  he writes, “Connecting the body to the earth leads to reduction of inflammation, and also show that the effects are correlated with the flow of electrons from
the earth to the body and thence to sites of inflammation. The most plausible explanation is that free electrons  neutralize the free radicals that are the hallmark of chronic inflammation.”
