1yr female patient had recurrent hypoglycemic attacks with tachycardia,tachypenia, dehydration, ketonuria and severe metabolic acidosis (corrected with peritoneal dialysis). She improved symptomatically. Genetic check up was done, no other congenital abnormalities were found, family history not contributory, maple syrup/phenylketonuria screen negative...suspected fructose intolerance, not satisfied though. Investigations also show increased LDL reduced HDL and increased LDH. Could you please give probable differentials? Thank you.

Dear sir, post mature NB delivered normally for a mother had a renal transplant. She is on anti-rejection therapy. The NB developed sever hypoglycemia despite Rx [12.5 percent dextrose+steroid] we have no glucagon. What is the cause & what shall I do to help this patient?

New born baby delivered in the 34th week of pregnancy with wt of 2150 gms and blood glucose level of 20mg/dl was corrected with frequent oral feeding to reach 64mg/dl on the 3rd day after labour. Is there any risk of decrease in blood glucose level later? Is this a case of hyperinsulinemia or this is a normal condition? and when can we be sure that this baby is safe?
