DIAGNOSTIC DILEMMA
A 1½ years old girl presented with cough for 15 days and breathlessness for 8 days. She was treated for pulmonary TB and had completed treatment one month back. On examination, air entry was decreased in right supra-mammary region and she had bilateral crepitations along with cardiomegaly. Echocardiography showed dilated cardiomyopathy with ejection fraction of 40%.

What is the cause of dilated cardiomyopathy? Can TB cause dilated cardiomyopathy?
