DIAGNOSTIC DILEMMA

A 4 month old boy with HIE stage 2 in neonatal period has persistent breath holding spells. His echocardiogram and EEG as well as metabolic workup in negative. What is the diagnosis and how to treat? Read more.

Last fortnight's query of a 2½ month old boy with NBT test showed 3% function. Does this child have chronic granulomatous disease? Most of the viewers have advised to repeat the test. The authors have replied that they intend to repeat the test in next 3 months.
