neonatal sepsis ?
In neontal sepsis up to how low plateletes we can wait for transfusion if there is no active bleeding_?

The rule is to keep platelets count more than 30,000, micL, in our case transfusion is indicated if platelets count is below 20,000, micL if the neonate state is stable, and below 100,000, micL if his, her state is unstable.
Transfusion with 20ml, kg platelets.

When the platelets are upto 50000 or lesser transfusion is necessary but it varies according to institution protocol.
Some institution requires transfusion if the above amount is associated with other conditions.
When plateletes are upto 50000 or lesser, but varies from institutions to institutions.
